As part of our project, a number of creative arts workshops were held for the public and school aged children. These included poetry and music workshops with musician Heather Wastie and craft sessions at the Museum of Carpet.
You can read some of the stories and poems produced and inspired by the cottages here. You can also listen to a series of songs developed by Heather with children of St Mary's Primary School Kidderminster, which now form a wonderful local history learning resource in music! More information can be found in our online brochure.
